Hi! I’m Fiona Peterson, a Public Relations senior at the University of Oregon.
I grew up in California, but after a spontaneous three-hour visit to UO, I decided to take a leap and spend the next four years in a completely new environment—and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Since starting college in fall 2021, I’ve been figuring things out one step at a time: learning, growing, and discovering what I’m passionate about both in and out of the classroom. I love cooking, playing and coaching lacrosse, spending time in nature, journaling, and making space for self-care. These little things keep me grounded and inspired.
This blog is part of my journey in Writing for Digital Audiences, where I’ve been learning how to create meaningful content and connect with readers online. Here, I’ll be sharing a mix of personal reflections and class projects that highlight everything I’ve learned—and the hard work I’ve put in along the way.
